The guidelines and instructions provided in this brochure will assist candidate in selecting appropriate institutions and course and in completing the application forms properly.
The board we not process any from completed without adhering to the institutions an regulation set out in this booklet.

• A candidate must have completed or about to complete a full course of training in a secondary schools, technical college, Teacher training college or an approved institution of equivalent status.
• A candidate must have attained the age of sexteen years (16) or would have done so on first day of October in the year of his/her candidature.
• UTME candidates must write the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and attain an acceptable standard in the examination for entry into the course of his/her choice.
• UTME are advice to use the current syllabus. Past question paper on the examination are available for a fee at the Nation headquarters, headquarters annexes, xonql an the state offices of the board.
• Candidates who submit more than one set of application form will be disqualified.
• Apart from the notification of result, the board will not enter into correspondance regarding candidates performance at the UTME or failure of placement of candidates.
• The board reserves the right to withdraw, at any time any result released to candidates or admission offer made if it is discovered that the candidate cheated at the examination or gave the board false, incomplete or misleading information.
